This Privacy Policy explains how MediaTracker handles user information.

2. Locally Stored Data

MediaTracker may store information locally on the user's device, including tracked content, application preferences, ratings, notes, and personal progress.

3. Google and YouTube Accounts

Connecting a Google or YouTube account is optional. When enabled, MediaTracker may receive and use the information necessary to provide the requested functionality.

MediaTracker does not sell users' personal data and does not use Google data for advertising purposes.

3.1 Google and YouTube User Data

MediaTracker uses YouTube API Services to access users' YouTube subscriptions and related channel information upon request. By using YouTube features in MediaTracker, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Data obtained through YouTube API Services is processed locally on the user's device solely to display subscription content within the application. MediaTracker does not store Google or YouTube user data on external servers, does not share or sell this data to third parties, and does not use it for advertising or user profiling purposes.

Users can view and manage their Google privacy settings via the Google Privacy Policy.

Users may revoke MediaTracker's access to their Google account at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

4. Third-Party Services

To retrieve information about movies, TV series, and video games, the application may communicate with external services including TMDB, IGDB/Twitch, Google, and YouTube.

These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Backups

Users are responsible for backup files they create or transfer. MediaTracker cannot guarantee backup storage or recovery.

6. Data Retention

Locally stored data remains on the device until the user deletes it, uninstalls the application, or clears the application's data.

7. Security

MediaTracker uses reasonable measures to protect processed information. However, no information system can be considered completely secure.

8. User Rights

Users may delete local application data and revoke connections to external services at any time through the relevant device or account settings.
